May 13, 2019 General meeting held for the Ehime Prefecture Nanyo Region Important Agricultural Heritage Systems Designation Promotion Committee.
During the 2019 general meeting of the Ehime Prefecture Nanyo Region Important Agricultural Heritage Systems Designation Promotion Committee, the Promotion Committee focused on the importance of pursuing a variety of independent local measures and activities, based on the preservation plan submitted upon application for Japanese Nationally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (J-NIAHS) designation, for purposes of passing on the Nanyo, Ehime Citrus Fruit Agricultural System to future generations. Moreover, the Promotion Committee decided to strive for Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) designation while continuing with its steady, unflagging local-region efforts
