Yawatahama City Mayor and Ehime Prefecture Nanyo Region Important Agricultural Heritage Systems Designation Promotion Committee Chairperson Ichiro Oshiro received the Japanese Nationally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (J-NIAHS) designation certificate from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
During the certificate awarding ceremony, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) President Kazuhiko Takeuchi gave the keynote address, and additional ceremony-related events were held.
Nanyo, Ehime
